As a Lead mechanical engineer at
Tebodin Indonesia, you take repsonsibility for executing mono- (or
multidisciplinary) engineering activities. You do this in accordance with
legislation and regulations, the demands set out n the project plan or
commission with regard to budget, planning, safety and quality, taking into
account client demands and Tebodin Quality policy.
It is your task to design conceptual
and basic engineering packages for mechanical systems (rotating
or static) including technical specification, datasheet, drawing, BoQ, etc for
subsequent activities in the project. Apart from
the designing, you also prepare bid packages, specification, tender evaluations
plus construction supervision and project acceptance. Another responsibility is to monitor
and supervise detailed engineering packages. Furthermore you support
procurement activities and offer support to the field engineers if so required.
You
estimate, prepare and monitor the number of hours worked of one’s own
discipline, taking account of the available time and budget, in order to ensure
that all activities in the design phase are executed within the available
budget. Furthermore you prepare reports and initiate and
coordinate meetings and discussions with the disciplines involved and the
client, with regard to progress, staffing and planning, taking account of the
wishes and needs of all parties involved, in order to provide an up-to-date
insight into the planned and completed activities and coordinate activities
within the involved disciplines.
Requirements:

Bachelor/Master
Degree in mechanical engineering;· Minimum 7 years design experience;
· Good English both in writing and speaking;
· Strong capabilities in design management, budget preparation and management, procurement and construction management, personnel allocation;
· Excellent knowledge of Mechanical Engineering Analysis & Design software packages (PV Elite) and general office software packages;
· Excellent knowledge of International and local Codes and Design Standards;
· Specialization in Static Equipment OR Rotating Equipment
